The 5 Dimensions of Teaching and Learning™ instructional framework is a research-based tool to help schools and districts create shared language for teaching and learning in order to grow more equitable instructional practices. The 5D™ instructional framework was updated to Version 4.5 in 2020. Version 4.5 of the 5D™ Smart Card can also be used with the 5D+™ Rubric for Instructional Growth and Teacher Evaluation.
